A life-long Houston native who has been lucky enough to play the Cypress Course 10 times or so. Have played golf all over the world and this course is as tough as it gets. I rank it up there with Firestone South and Troon, Scotland and 3 of the most beautiful and challenging courses I have ever played

This is one of the unforgettable golf club in my life. Well designed courses, difficult green. but most important is you can meet the founder of this golf, Mr. Jack Burke who was the legend of PGA golf. he always welcoming players and visitors. i got his signature in my cap and took the photo with him!!! Below photo shows theclub house.Cypress Creek Course, considered the more difficult of the two, is famous for its 236-yard No. 4, which hammered Ben Hogan for a 9 in 1971 and literally took him to his knees when he injured himself scrambling down the bank of Cypress Creek.Me in Cypress Creek Course? I had tried many ways of shots, but my average is double bogey in this hole. hmm
