Just spoke with Janet and must update review. A new trainer is coming to horse masters to start a new program. I look forward to being able to ride, train and show at my old stomping grounds.

Please listen to Brian Adler, I rode with him under Jannette (his mom) in my younger years. We had a blast together even though I always kicked his butt…if he’s willing to say this about his family farm and place he grew up learning how to ride and handle horses properly, it’s not worth your time. Brian and I spent many hours working together on the crazy thoroughbred jimmy joe that no one but me could ride and his hunter Welch pony sleigh bells. To Brian, I miss your family, your mom was an amazing trainer and I’m so sorry to read this disheartening post. If you are still riding in the area I’m looking for a good jumper barn…suggestions would be appreciated!

Owner is extremely rude and disrespectful. If youre a young trainer be prepared for the owner to tell your parents how stupid they are and how they arent allowed to lease here (even if the horse youre leasing isnt theirs) unless you take lessons from them. If they dont like you theyll also talk to your parents about how terrible they are at parenting because they raised a disrespectful child. You also arent allowed to use the jumps or move them out of the way without getting yelled at. Dont waste your time

I came to the barn for a fall harvest event. I loved the barn and the people so I decided to sign up for lessons. I'm glad I did! I rode all through my childhood and into my 20's but I've already learned so much! I truly enjoy my instructor Janet, who is also the owner, and plan on continuing. A bonus is Janet also plans workshops and fun activities so you can get to know your fellow barn mates.
