Only $5 per carload to get in, there's floating lily pads to run across, a floating trampoline, and a pair of floating blocks to jump from into the water. The kids always have a blast. They have kayaks available to rent and there is a snack bar for snow cones and pickles, maybe a candy bar. We've been back several times this summer, usually stay at least two hours or more.

Farmington Lake has really improved! Sad you have to pay to get in but the beach area is great fun! We were there for a reserved beach party and we had the whole beach to ourselves (off hours, 6pm to 8pm), including the life guards on duty. The little kids have shallow water to play freely in and the older kids can swim out to the bouncy playground. There's also a picnic table area for us to set up the food we brought. Perfect for a party!
