If you are a low hcp, you best bring your range finder. I thought a lot of the yardage was very inaccurate. The greens were incredibly soft, so much so you could stop on a dime with long iron from the rough. I don't know of there was a clerical error, new employee or what, but i played 9 with a cart for $10. And then $4 for two waters... so yeah, great rate for me i guess. It's almost like this is a bar and lounge that has a golf course instead of a dart board... I've played worse courses for 3x the price. No complaints other than lack of challenge and inaccurate distances.

Made a tee time for 7:00 am Sunday morning. Drove from Saint Louis MO ready to be challenged on the course. The manager inside told us he had a huge tournament going on at seven and we wouldn't be able to play. We arrived at 7:05 am and were the only ones there. It made me wonder if the color of my skin was a factor in his decision not to allow us to play. Needless to say, I won't be back nor will any of my friends. I will publish this blatant display of racism in Staunton Illinois.
