Very friendly staff, course and greens were in pretty good shape. However, I feel they just pack you in here, trying to squeeze every last dime out as possible. I feel like ownership has no long term plans with this course. Honestly, probably the worst clubhouse I ever seen. Random tables and chairs, along with carpet held together with duct tape. Better off bulldozing it and have a small booth where you pay. Also, the golf carts were really pieces of junk...Id almost prefer to walk but Im too lazy and the fear of getting hit by a ball with the close proximity of fairways. Ownership for both this and Glacier Golf Course...its obvious where they invest the money.

5 and a half hour round. Got told by the ranger to pick up our pace on the 16th hole after waiting on every shot of the entire round. They pack the course and blame groups on slow play. Course is in good shape but not worth it.

Pretty basic course. Not in bad shape or anything but pretty plane Jane. They say it's a Links course but I didn't see it. Not much heather, long rough, or big greens with undulations. You can spray it way right or way left and still be in play, granted it will be in someone else's fairway. Speaking of which keep your head on a swivel as many teeboxes/greens seems to converge in one area, and many fairways are pretty snug to one another, so if you hear a 'FORE' you better duck, and put some marks on your ball so you can identify it. Don't play the whites unless your 80+ years old and can only drive the ball 150 yards. Difference between blues and whites is too drastic. 400 yard par 5s are no fun. Clubhouse looks like it will collapse with a strong breeze, which might not be a bad thing, as long as nobody is inside. There were a ton of golfers on the course but the clubhouse offers next to nothing in the way of atmosphere or food, and definitely doesn't make you want to stick around and shoot the sh*t over a beer after a long round. Spruce the place up, thrown out a basic bar menu and a Golden Tee Machine and you could get more people to stick around and spend some more money. Pace of play was pretty slow...8 minute intervals between tee times is pretty tight. Although I will say there were multiple rangers out trying to hurry people along to prevent log jams. Cart girl was very pleasant and came by frequently. Overall just a pretty 'meh' course with only a few challenging holes and no real scenery or ambiance to keep you coming back. If you're the area give it a shot and maybe play from the tips so you can use all the clubs in your bag, but I wouldn't make it a 'must play' course as the allure of being a links course is over-played.
