Amazing Golf Course

Go enjoy a day at prairie woods...if you've ever played a wooded course you will like this course. The shop staff (Joe) was great and very informative ... as we were leaving the owner went out of her way to say thank you and hoped we had enjoyed the course and to come back.Matured into an enjoyable golf course. This is a short but challenging link. No two holes alike and only a couple are straight down the fairway. Very fun . Greens were a little rough with divot marks but still rolled true, not a big worry. I've found the staff super friendly every time I'm there. You will love playing here I'm sure.

The golf course was in nice shape for late July. I always love playing at this course. However; The food is CRAZY over priced for what you get. I ordered 2 brats at the turn. Pretty simple to throw a couple brats on buns with cheese & onion and get us back on the golf course. I was told it was extra for for the cheese & onion & I said no problem. Needless to say we waited 20 minutes for our food (there were only 4 people in the bar area). Once we got the food, it wasn't the way we ordered it, the brats were literally half the size of the buns and they were unbelievably dry. I've been to culinary school. I was taught that you never send food out to a customer if it looks unappealing. So we paid $7.00 per brat + for cheese & onion that was the size of a large cocktail weiny that tasted like an over cooked shoe. If you want to charge that much for a brat, get a full sized brat that fits the bun and for God sakes cook them properly. Again the golf course was great but the food needs some work. I will golf there again, but I will eat before I get there.
