This park is very very dangerous. Sadly, drug dealers and homeless people took it over. Needles all over the place. Police is trying to patrol as much as they can, but they are losing the battle. Also, for reasons unknown, some people with dangerous dogs think, it is an off leash park(it is not)and let their pit bulls loose. I live close by and sometimes I just want to take a nice short walk without driving to a trail, but it's not possible anymore. I had seen many questionable activities, at the park and by the lake next to the park, including child trafficking(I called the police, gave license plate number, but the suspect drove away). I advice to people, especially to those with young children and the elderly, who walk their dogs sometimes , to stay away.
