Amazing Golf Course

Once Covid restrictions end this review will go straight up.

Pro-Shop staff was friendly and accommodating. Course fairways were in good condition and greens were in decent condition (IMO, need some aggressive aeration next winter/spring). Price was very good. The course is well designed, IMO, not withstanding the close proximity to houses . The course has potential.However, I completely disagree with the excessively long secondary rough, especially since many of the fairways are rather narrow and the secondary rough is very close to the fairways (we're not talking 20 yards off the fairway, more like less than 5). 6' - 12' long and thick rough is just unnecessary and leads to long periods of time looking for a wayward ball. I'm an OK player, ~8-10 handicap, but the few times I found myself wandering around looking for my ball that on most courses would still be in the primary rough, and seldom finding it, made the round un-fun. Not to mention my playing partners (beginners all) who spent a lot of time on each hole looking for their ball. This causes pace-of-play issues as well as, in my case, enjoy-ability issues. Regardless of the price, I don't have a desire to go back and play it again until the secondary rough issue is resolved. If it does get resolved, you can count me as a regular.

The golf course is in good condition. Fun to play. There is some construction on a couple of holes but thats ok. The outstanding thing is the friendly and very accommodating staff. They are definitely eager to take care of us. Every time I have gone there early or late they have been so happy to see us and even let me hit the driving range just before closing. There was a little mix up where we set a tee time but when we got there it wasnt in the system or anything (must have been something going on that day cause it happened to multiple groups), so I was pretty frustrated but the guy (cant remember his name unfortunately) was super helpful. He said that hed get it figured out and get us taken care of and within 5 minutes they had us ready to go. They handled the mistake super well and I was very impressed. Not my favorite course Ive played on but a fair price and I would maybe come again for the course, but come back for the service.

The course is in good shape and they're constantly improving the amenities, but there's still a lot of construction.
