Quicksand is a gem. Very impressed with the greens and fairways. I was not expecting a lush, green public course this far west in Texas. The staff was great too. I played with a couple of their regulars, which was a great way to learn about the course. Will definitely be back.

I have disability which makes walking distance difficult. This course does not allow you to get anywhere near the greens with a cart. The course has a 90 degree rule which is fine but they have no cart signs set at 100 to 125 yards from the green which makes it difficult when you are 50 yards short because you have walk 50 yards to the ball and then 50 yards back and when you have a disability it is difficult. I did drive inside once and the maintenance was quite unprofessional about it. He could clearly see I had a disability but did not care. I try and respect courses but 125 yards is too far. it would be nice if they put a little thought into it. I
