Better bring your A game... Course is fun and challenging. Absolute value too!Update: Pace of play is becoming a huge issue here. With the stacked tee times, it is really bringing the course into the same pace as Teravista and Avery Ranch. Playing over the weekend, I am highly concerned of social distance procedures and preventative measures around COVID at this course.I think times are crazy right now but I believe Shadowglen will get this fix. When they do, I will be more than happy to put my review back at 5 stars.

Great course, in great shape. Could have used a starter to manage the groups otherwise no issues.

I had what I would consider an extremely disappointing experience at ShadowGlen. Me and my group of friends will not be going to ShadowGlen again In the future. There was no starter to assist with the first tee and the groups were packed back to back. This resulted in some golfers complaining about the pace of play while we maintained a 3 hour 45 minute pace of play (teed off at 7:10 and finishing the round before 11). The marshalls asked us to keep it moving multiple times and even asked us to skip a hole while we maintained a timely pace, especially on a Sunday that was jam packed with tee times. This completely ruined our round for the day. When I went to discuss the issue at hand with their staff, I experienced a dismissive management team that did not take my feedback seriously. I would not recommend attending this golf course. Star Ranch, Falconhead and Avery Ranch are all much better options amongst the many other options in Austin. To add to this, they did not forewarn us about their greens being aerated which I would consider a common courtesy when booking a tee time.

It was a good day of golf. The setup has changed and the course is a bit more open on several tees.
