I played today and the course is in really good shape. The Zoisia fairways look better than at any other time that I have played it. Must have someone new mowing them because they are in great shape. This course presents a good challenge and you have to hit it in the fairway. Dont recommend going if you are a hacker. The greens are really coming around and rolling good. A vast improvement since playing three weeks ago. The problem at 9, 10, and 11 greens have been resolved since the watering system was struck by lightning. This course is a lot of fun and the only negative is no food or drinks when making the turn. I dont get the one star reviews, because this place is much better than most of the courses around in East TN. Thanks Island Pointe for all of the hard work that is going on! Very, very enjoyable!

The course at one time was one of the best around. That time is past! The course and facilities are in desperate need of maintenance. The greens and bunkers were in terrible shape. The fairways were only slightly better. The clubhouse is run down, no snack bar at the pro shop or at the turn. It's really sad to see what was once a great course in such bad shape. When I called to make a tee time I was quoted a discount rate due to the greens being aerated and senior discount. When we arrived at the course we were charged a higher rate even after I told the gentleman in the pro shop what we were told on the phone.

Worth it for the money. Played on August 18th. Fairways are looking good and greens are better than people are saying. Recent sand trap improvements have been added this month but very high grass in spots. The biggest problem is the rough is so thick and high you cant find a ball if it rolls in. Would like to see alot of rough cut down as it is the main problem right now. It would be amazing if some upgrades took place as it is a beautiful layout.

It is a wonderful layout. But apparently they are out of money. Nothing in the club house. And I mean nothing. No water too drink anywhere. Only the greens and fairways get cut. I understand that this used to be a wonderful course but no more. I would avoid this course. To many good options close by.
