An extremely belated review. It was March 03, the month & year of my retirement from the active workforce in Sacramento California, and I was visiting my Atlanta kids, with a few days at their villa on Hilton Head Island SC. On a Sunday, I attended Mass at one of the two Episcopal Parishes, met some other welcoming visitors and etc. On Monday I toured some golf courses, starting with Harbour Town GL, but with its intimidating history, and etc. I decided to play elsewhere. Discovered the hidden jewel, Arthur Hills GC. Was paired up with a couple from the Church I had attended on Sunday, and a young man, Nick Wonder - a member of the Ohio University, Athens OH, golf team - dayum could he hit that ball . Anyway, the AHGC is as gorgeous and user friendly as ANY course Ive ever played. Uniquely memorable.

Nothing negative to say about this place. I can say that I choose this one over their signature RTJ course. The front 9 is laid out beautifully and the back 9 will test you.

Great course, excellent pace, forgiving landing zones with some technica aspects sprinkled in. Check this track out before spending on Robert Trent Jones.
