Very impressive course among small town public courses. Well kept with some challenging holes, several requiring shots around or over water. Well worth adding to your SC golf tour. Friendly, helpful staff.

My first visit to Chester CC in the misty rain Saturday 8/24/2019. Drove 50 minutes from Clover, SC. My focus was simply to enjoy a stress-free round, work on my setup, see a new course. I was -not- expecting what followed. Wonderful, inviting, approachable staff. Nice fairways. Very nice greens. Fun layout. Wallet friendly rates. Rain broke and ended up low 70s, overcast with breeze. My game fell away last few holes but still shot 84. I'm a 90s player so I was thrilled. Asked about membership plans. I'm definitely coming back. Thanks to the guys in the pro shop! Such a warm welcome! - Rob

Playing here again today. This is one of the best courses around. Great layout, good greens, good fairways and a fair price. You must play it if you haven't. It's always a good time here.

Excellent course, open on most holes, but still a test of accuracy. Nice staff, including course marshalls.
