Nice public course reasonably priced. Sand traps could use some sand, they are rather hard.

A real gem. Visiting from out of town and looking for a place for my junior golfer to play a round. Found the muni on youth on course participating map. My husband was not so sure about it.... He was afraid that a city golf course wouldn't be very nice. He was completely mistaken. Beautiful fairways surrounded by live oaks, lots of water (almost every hole) and the back nine wrapped along a marsh with views of bridges and large boat filled waterways. Lots of wildlife. Greens were well maintained. Holes were challenging enough for experienced golfers but not too challenging for a less experienced golfer to enjoy. Drink and snack cart driving around and a grill inside. Very nice staff. We were pleasantly surprised and will visit again on future visits!
