Amazing Golf Course

Played there today. Worst greens I have ever seen. Shaggy and bumpy. The 'noodles' inserted into the cups are too tall and reject balls that would otherwise be in the hole.

One if my favorite public courses around. Well maintained. Good layout. If the greens rolled faster and sand was a bit better, it'd be one heck of a course.

Great course with friendly staff.

I have been coming to Birdsfoot for at least 4 years, spent plenty of time and money here. We have always enjoyed the very friendly and accommodating staff. However, I would be remiss if I didn't voice my displeasure and disappointment. The course conditions, especially after months of time to prepare, fell very short of what is to be expected for the quality we have come to know (and especially the price). There were a number of tee boxes with grass at least 2 inches high (specifically #9, a challenging par 3 requiring a very good tee shot). Elsewhere, nearly every single green was a bit too high this would not be as big of an issue if the greens were rolled.. they were not rolled. Every single putt bounced around void of any consistency, there was no true roll it was nearly impossible to gauge the appropriate line and speed. While I am sympathetic to the challenges created by the COVID 19 pandemic, the issues with the golf course were simply laziness. These were by far the worst greens I have played this season (25+ rounds this year). In my opinion, at the price we were charged, there is no excuse for such laziness. We simply did not get what we paid for, and I dont think we will be back this season. Either way, I have always enjoyed my interactions with the staff and they have always been very accommodating.
