Really enjoy playing there, they take good care of the courses

The Lakes course was in terrible shape. Many of the tee boxes and fairways had crabgrass running rampant. I have played the north course more times than i can count and it always looks ok. I try to play the Lakes course once per year and this year it was down right embarrassing. The maintenance on the Lakes course is not up to par. The grass looked like it hadn't been mowed in a week. And the places it was cut had clumps of grass on the fairway. Obviously they don't put the same effort into the Lakes as they due the North course. Normally all OKC course are pretty good, but this was the worst i have ever seen tone of them.

Two of the older men who were taking my money for the green fee are very rude. They act like you should know how everything works and if asked a question they are blunt and rude when answering like they dont have the time of day. I asked if they offer a student discount as I am a college student and one of the men said no then quickly said..welcome to the real world bud. I wanted to slap him silly and tell him to get off his high horse. If a customer ask a question, whether you like it or not, answer them politely. Im a college student who makes more money in a few months then they do in a year welcome to the real world old man.

If people would actually repair their own divots, this would be one of the better courses in the metro area that isn't difficult to get a good tee time. The south course is a fun, but a little short, course. Challenges you to think twice before pulling out your driver.
