Cooks Creek is one of the best designs by Hurdzan & Fry. Beautiful layout and challenging in all facets. The course is a gem. Currently, there is some reconditioning happening with the course (some burnout in some places and then on the flip side some some serious sogginess) , but despite this, it was still a lot of fun, it didn't detract at all from the playability, and you couldn't beat the price ($22 for our round). The greens are rolling great.In addition, I truly appreciate the staff's efforts in providing a safe healthy venue to play. Kudos to them. Super people running a super course. Don't miss it.

Played on July 4th..$40 for this course was high considering the shape it was in. Sometimes the tees you were playing were out... Sometimes not. They said they were trying to protect the tees... Then why not double them so at least you know where to hit from .. Group in front of us pulled all three carts by the greens yet the ranger didn't do anything. Saw a sign on #8 that said carts on path 1 through 7...really? Had to pick cigarette butts out of cart before we played. From tee to green it is in bad shape. Very few trash cans so we saw others had just thrown their trash anywhere. Don't waste your time and money here , it is the worst course in Central Ohio. Don't know why John Cook would be associated with it.

I love this course. Challenging and in great shape considering what theyve dealt with over the last year. Theyve dealt with flooding in ways no other courses have. And yet it still plays very well and the people are great. Highly recommend. Its a gem.
