The condition of the course could not be much better. It's been 25 years since I last played Pipestone. Greens were tricky to putt. Ball rolled true.There are more blind shots than I care for. I'd say play it and judge for yourself.

We always enjoy playing at Pipestone. We normally get out there 2 or 3 times a year. The course has been in great condition the last three years and it was just as good today. Greens are quick with readable breaks. There is a decent amount of terrain elevation with water and decent sand traps throught the course.I walk even the the special I played on included the cart. If there is one drawback that allowed my wife, son and I to play on a Sunday afternoon at a pretty cumbersome rate (4 hrs 15 min with no one in front of us) and not have anyone catch us, it is the $39 dollar walking rate. If I had paid this it would only be a 4 star rating.

Plated at Pipestone for a Company outing. 18 holes of well manicured greens and friendly helpful employees. I know they can't do this for everyone, but I didn't even have time to get out of my car and a gentleman pulled up in a cart ready to give me a ride to the clubhouse. I don't drink beer, but dollar beer Friday seems like it should be pretty popular! I had the same friendly service at the 19th hole. It was a great day. Great golf course (well it was great to play - my personal golf game gets 2 stars at best), great weather & a great clubhouse.
