I've been around this course since 1986 when my dad built his house and several others around the neighborhood, it's a great course to play ,cant believe they have let it run down like this ,my dad passed away in 2012 and I just went to see his old house to see what it looked like now and was shocked to see the course so run down ,made me very sad ,..my hopes are that someone buys it soon ,or maybe the city buy it or something. Town of Shallotte should buy it and make it open to the public, rounds of golf for 20.00 dollars ,my guess is it would be a hit and very profitable ...

Went to the old club house it was run down but i got to see the cutest gator and he just sits and waits for you to feed him. But dont touch.
