The course is in great shape! I love the views, very aesthetically pleasing. With 27 holes and friendly staff you couldn't ask for much more. My favorite course in STL

I'm sure management of this place does a good job with what they have, but this is the worst-routed golf course I've ever seen. Its pure goofy golf. Seriously, it's amateur hour dogleg par fours that dogleg at 160 yards off the tee, power lines everywhere, pointless forced carries with no strategic elements to them, a public street (!) bisecting the approach of a par four. There are a couple of holes on the flat part of the course where the better play off the tee is the wrong side of a lake into another holes fairway. Not to mention every other year they have to close 8-10 holes due to flooding.I love Gary Player as a human being, but the man cannot design his way out of a paper bag.
