Played Mountain nine, and it was awful. $45 for 9 holes with a cart, and every green was atrocious. All were missing grass in spots and had divots EVERYWHERE. Blue grass seed left stains on shoes, balls, and clubs. Fairways were filled with divots as well. Terrible experience. Im sure the other 18 holes are great, but DO NOT play mountain.

The mountain course was virtually unplayable. The greens were so splotchy with more dirt than grass. The bunkers were gravel pits. The fact that they charge that rate for that quality is unbelievable. Beautiful area, we thought wed have some great views at a highly touted course and were extremely disappointed. Id go up to Grand Marais or head back to Duluth for some golf if youre not wanting to break the bank for an overpriced construction yard.
