fun track and friendly staff at check in and during round. Suggestion... ask for a course map at the proshop... lots of blind shots and water

Boulder is a fun course. It could use a few things though. First being the bunkers, they need a lot of work. Without the rakes because of Covid policies I think the grounds crew may need to make the rounds and rake them out. It looked like they hadn't been touched in quite a while, I played out of 3 bunkers and each of them my ball came to rest in a foot print. The greens played fast today, they were in rough shape with multiple ball marks in them, I tried to fix a few on every hole, but inevitably I didn't get them all. Course is in good shape minus the two previous comments.

The course features a number of tough holes surrounded by water. Water and bunkers also defend many of the fast, sloping greens. The course often punishes shots that are just a little off. Difficult but a fun challenge. Offers a good mix of longer and shorter holes. I played in May 2020 when the place was in great shape, so I updated the review I originally left in 2017 when the fairways and greens needed TLC.
