My husband and I travelled to Lexington specifically for him to play this course. We had to pay for a hotel room to stay overnight because we are from out of town. Upon arrival to the course, we were informed that I could not ride in the cart to tag along and that he would have to be put in a group to play. I was not planning on playing... just wanted to spend time with my husband. He was not told any of this upon making his tee time nor was this on the website. If he had known, I would not have come with him. We have both played golf for 10+ years and I have never heard of this type of rule. I had nowhere to go as we had already checked out of our hotel so my husband was forced to forfeit his tee time with no refund. Very inconsiderate. Please freshen up your communication skills and maybe update your website.

This is a challenging course for a lower skill level golfer like myself (the only reason I gave it four stars instead of five). Of the first four holes, three are decent-length par fives, so come ready to play, right from the first tee box. The course is quite pretty, offering rolling fairways, some water features, and challenging greens. It is in great shape right now, so if you're thinking about trying it, now would be a good time.
