We had our wedding reception here and this a great 'hidden gem' in Lawrence. We are not country club members but were treated like members. The price for the space was very reasonable and the cost for food and alcohol was reasonable also. They changed event managers a month before we got married but that did not cause us hardly any problems. There were no hidden fees or extras that you learn of after the fact. Also we had to have several special meals due to allergies and there was no additional cost or hassle for them to make those meals. Many of our guests said how good the food was and how nice the staff was.
