My only experience is with the golf course. The course is in great shape. Pace of play is average, 4 hrs for a 4some. Very nice staff. Golf carts are always clean.

Overall it was ok. Unfortunately, the hotel is in need of a facelift. The drains emitted a horrible smell and the sink and bathtub were stained and old. The golf course was decent but the dirt at the tees was rock hard making it difficult to tee our ball. Hopefully there is money in the kitty to do a much needed renovation. For what we paid, you would expect a nice updated hotel.

This place has not been updated since the 1980's. Main part is run down, premium suites are far from premium. We complained about the lack of quality & never received a responce. Our suite was just nasty, dirty & worn carpets, rusty toilet hastnt been cleaned, moldy shower caulking, lights inop, tube type TV with poor reception. I could go on but this will probably be delited anyway. There are much better hotels for less cost.

If you're going to stay here, book a room in the tower. We rented a golf room and it smelled like it had been flooded and not properly cleaned. We were killing flies and gnats within the first few minutes of being there. We complained within 10 minutes and were given a tower room which was so much nicer. (The staff was very nice.) My husband was upset because none of the movie channels worked, but we weren't there to watch tv. There was a 'bonfire' for toasting marshmallows or just hanging out. There was a luau at the outdoor pool, a BBQ on the terrace, live music at night on Bourbon Street which was supposed to be 21 and over but kids were running all over the place which pretty much ruined it for us and we left before it ended. There was movie night in the atrium. The fish fry at Jambalaya was delicious and fresh, it came with a nice salad bar. If you play golf the grounds are beautiful. Overall it was a good time with plenty more activities and restaurants than I mentioned here.
