Played from the gold tees and I was horrible! But that is not the fault of the course. If you stay in the short grass you'll do okay but the rough is tough. It's bluegrass and the ball sinks down and the grass grabs the clubhead and goes nowhere. The course is very hilly and beautiful, with lots of trees and ponds on several holes. The course has very true greens that were in good shape for late in the season but why can't people repair ball marks, it's a problem everywhere. I will play here again soon!

It is by far the best golf course in Northeast Kankakee County. In all seriousness my first time there and it is in awesome shape. The new Superintendent has done a great job with the greens.
