Great course for walking or riding. Very open fairway drives and challenging shots played over high grass. Wide greens that are sloping and well maintained. Wish you could put golf carts in parking lot for easier loading and unloading, that is my only bummer related tot his course.

One of the golf courses I play in Savannah. I like this golf course because it is easy to walk, variety of holes, and location. The driving range is one of the best in Savannah. The main complaints that I have with this golf course is the inconsistency of its condition, particularly the putting greens. The practice putting green even varies in conditioning. When I first moved to Savannah this golf course had thicker rough and more foliage around the course. They have cut it all down. I understand why the cut down the rough to make it easier to play, however why the tall grass by the lake at the putting green?One last thing the mens bathroom always needs cleaning at the clubhouse.Im glad they got food back in the clubhouse. This was missing here for a long time.With its faults I like to play here.
