Nice course that is pretty well maintained. I recognize that it is top notch for a muni, and the city of st pete should be commended for that. But I have had two bad experiences with the starters. Rude, old cranks that have no business talking to people the way they do. Get a new job if working at a golf course is too stressful for you.

I was a single golfer on vacation with no one to play with. I showed up at 7:00am(if I do it again I will show up at 630am) and paid $37. And some change.(CARD ONLY) They put your name on list to pair you up with groups of 3. The starter calls your name on a loud speaker when he wants you to head to tee 1 and tee off. The pace was slow for a Wednesday morning, it took 4 hrs to play. The course was well kept overall for a public course with a few rough tee boxes. The greens are in beautiful shape but the roll is slow. The Ham and Cheese sandwich at the turn was loaded with ham and cheese for 4.25 CARD ONLY! Next time I visit St. PeTe beach I will golf here again! Thank you to the very friendly staff for my experience.
