Course in OK shape except for greens. They are pitiful played yesterday. At the greens fees price I expected a lot better.

By far the worst course in Sarasota County that I have played this year! Way over priced at $43.00. The blue tee boxes were horrible, all fairways were goat tracks and the greens had weeds growing in them!! Very disappointing.

Played in April 2020 and it was to worst course i have played on in 30 years. There was no grass, even in the middle of the fairways. A perfect tee shot to the middle of the fairway and you have to roll the ball 6 ft to get on a dead clump of grass. I was so upset that i left after 11 holes. Whoever rated this a 3-4-5 had to have played there years ago.By far and away for the public course go to Bobby Jones when they rer-open. American course is a great layout, especially the back 9

Oh my. We paid $43. That was at 11:30 on Saturday. This course is a complete disaster. They closed for almost a year to rebuild parts of the course and its worse today. Course has been reopened for months. There was very little grass and most looked weedy and barely cut. No water on course and clubhouse closed at 12. This used to be a hidden gem. Course is in terrible condition.
