We had a great time at this course. The course was wonderfully kept and the greens were fantastic. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. Would definitively recommend!

After my friends and my experience here, it seems pretty clear that this place is a local country club used by a group of local old men and managed by their friends who sneer at the idea of young tourists playing there and 'getting in their way'. To begin the story, a group of my friends and I, who are all 25-26 year old engineers, scheduled a tee time here. Upon our arrival it was immediately evident that our presence was unwanted. The two older gentlemen working the cash register were slightly rude while ringing us up and basically just blankly stared at us after we paid without giving us any further direction on what to do next or where the golf carts were. We walked out and found the golf carts. We loaded up into two of them and were waiting for our last friend before riding off when two older gentlemen chose to enter the golf cart directly behind me and my friend, despite having EVERY single other golf cart available. It seems that that particular golf cart is probably the one they use every week twice a week. While the older gentlemen were loading up their cart, the oldest gentlemen who was working the cash register began to approach me with a look of contempt and confusion. He proceeded to tell me that I needed to move because I was in the way of the two older gentlemen in the cart behind me, who were still in the process of loading their cart. I thought that was rude, but I remained respectful and moved the cart to the first hole. We begin our tee about 6 minutes early at the two older gentlemen's request. Upon reaching our 4th guy's drive, one of the older guys that was working the register approached us and told us we needed to hurry up because we were 'holding up the entire golf course.' We were all confused as we were keeping a pretty normal pace coupled with the fact that we started 6 minutes early. We all remained respectful, agreed, and moved on.We begin playing the 'furthest ball' method in fear of being asked to speed up again. We had picked up the pace a lot, only putting a single time and continuing on without actually sinking our put in order to keep everything moving as fast as possible. At about the 3rd hole, the same older man comes riding up and this time with annoyance in his voice, told us we were 2 holes behind and we were moving entirely too slow. This was a blatant lie. We actually had to wait for the group in front of us to get off the green so we could start the drive. We told him this, but he disagreed and drove off. Fast forward two holes. The old man comes riding up to us again. This time he is yelling at us 'YOU CAN'T DRIVE ON THE FAIRWAY ON A PAR 3!' Being regular golfers, we had never heard of this rule before, anywhere. Nevertheless, we apologized and told him we didn't know that was a rule nor was there a sign indicating that was a rule. The old man replied 'YEAH, WELL YOU CAN'T DO THAT!' and drove away. At this point it's obvious that these two older gentlemen were targeting us since we are a group of 25-26 year old's and the youngest people there by far. Fast forward another few holes, we approached hole #7. This time the older gentlemen was hiding in the woods to the right of the fairway in his cart, just watching us. One of our guys sliced his drive and the ball ends up hitting the old man's golf cart. Not his smartest decision to park there. He was angered by this and picked up our friend's ball and began driving towards us again. As he approached our cart he threw the ball at it and began scolding us for 'playing slow' and 'holding up the entire golf course'. Mind you, not only have we been playing furthest ball method and skipping puts, but we actually skipped an entire hole just to ensure he wouldn't harass us anymore. We were fed up with his harassment so we demanded a refund and he seemed confused. We received our refund and left. That was the poorest demonstration of how to run a business as I have ever seen. I have never been treated with such disrespect. I would advise people to stay away from this course. Those old men need to be fired.

$75 for constant waiting without foursomes letting a twosome through. Greens were freshly sanded and verticut, no mention of this on website. 8 hour drive to Panama City and spent more than any course in Tennessee. Keep your clubs at home for this one

Played the championship course today Feb 26 2020 They fit me in as a single which I am thankful for on short notice. However the course was in terrible shape very very wet many areas of old grass or needles all over fairways. Looks like someone was putting down fertilizer and left many burnt lines on course. For the money they charged me $70.24 for 18 holes in this condition it was way over priced. I am not happy. On a much brighter note the greens are in very good shape.
