Reply to Beach Bum:Everyone is allowed in on the weekend for 'Open Houses', or 'Parade of Homes' as long as ICI, Kargar, and Venture Realty (and Liz and Ali Kargar get their cut). Amber, and Margie Hall, in the Property Management Office, has also allowed Estate Sales within the community, despite rules stating they are not allowed. If you work for JD Webber construction you get a pass because the Manager is the son-in-law of the Security Director, and is allowed unfettered access to the construction gate, and allowed to threaten employees. We were told if we interfered with them we would be written up, demoted, and fired, which I was, after violent threats, from both the Vendors, and the Security Manager, which I videotaped.Everyday our Security 'Manager' told us to 'help out' ICI construction workers (undocumented, no licence).BTW....I'm the who who waved to resident's everyday, who knew who belonged, and who didn't. I'm the guy who showed up every hurricane and protected the community. I'm actually a retired Law Enforcement Officer, unlike your 'Security Manager', who was fired. In three years I turned away over a thousand people who did not have a license, they simply went to the construction gate and drove through, so yes, they had access to your property. I can tell you you are paying way too much for a Security Force, headed up by a fired Sheriff's Officer. Now that that it is 'Access Control' you got ripped off by whoever told it it was a 'Secure Community'. Basically, companies, solicitors, have total access to the community, through the construction gate. You have two people working the midnight, and two to ten shift, so there are no patrols. You pay Maintenance fees. You should get your money back.I would blame your realtor, or Margie Hall, who told you you were moving into a Security Patrolled, and access property, as you are not getting it, and there's been no patrols of note withing 3 years. It's your money, and the Property Manager, Security Managers, and their employees are getting rich off it.
