The south winds course in Boca Raton is the finest and fondest memory in my life as far as golf is concerned. It's a nice and well maintained course. This is the course where my son took first lesson of golf at age 11. I remember that day when all kids were having a group lesson and so was my son. I was excited that my son took up golf also wondering how he is going to do golf in future. His golf instructor Carie was a fine coach and she gave few lessons to my son. Then he started practicing on his own at the range. For a few years he just practiced consistently on the range and then he started going on golf course. I used to go with him everytime as watching him play and practice was so fun and used to give me satisfaction. Slowly his game started improving. He used to watch great golfers game on TV and never missed a single tournament to watch on TV. I remember the 13th hole on south wind golf course is dogleg and in the begining my son used to fear that hole but eventually he became expert and started scoring very well. The range at southwind is beautiful. The greens are great . I sometimes used to chip and put with my son. I remember the staff Judy used to work at south winds when we used to go. She was very kind lady. It is one of my memorable experience and days of my life. I will recommend this course to all who wants to learn golf. It is a good course for beginners as well as experts.
