The course is in great shape. The number of tee boxes for different driving skills is far better than other courses. The daily specials are fantastic.Well worth the drive. This will be on my weekly golf itinerary.

Plenty here: golf store, practice range, putting green, snack bar, cart rental, teaching pro w/ instruction, etc.It's well kept with moderate length and challenge that's good for beginner through advanced.Employees are friendly, helpful, knowledgeable, attentive, and professional.This popular club was recently renovated with lots of improvements. It's conveniently situated in the center of the state allowing easy access for those living in the Tri-State area or those traveling through.TIP: dress code policy, must have own golf bag and clubs!

If you like crab grass, goose grass, mud, water, and stones in the bunkers, thin fairways, branches and leaves all over, bouncy torn up carts, disheveled cart paths, no food to speak of, and a grumpy pro shop attendant who can't care less if anyone every came there then this place is for you. They must have no money to fix this course up. There's promise here but that's where it ends. Pity, it could be so much better if only.

Many improvements have been made on this course this year. Many of the annoying trees that hung over the fairways are gone, the water drainage issues have been dealt with and the greens are remarkable. Now if they can fix the bunkers it is a great play. The only negative I have (and it's a double-edged sword) is that you cannot play anytime during the day (weekday or weekend) without somebody out there mowing the rough (first and second cuts), the fairway and the greens. Despite all of the mowing it's still easy to lose your ball in the rough so stay in the fairway. Better scheduling of the mowing would be great. Bottom line they have made tremendous strides to improve the course.

Wish they had tees on their driving range. Course is in great condition. Reasonable prices. Need a beverage cart girl.

Staff and regulars very warm and welcoming, even though the course had been hit by a lot of rain prior to our visit, the course was in great condition, you need to hit the ball both ways to score well.

Played over Father's Day 2016. The fairways are very, very narrow, especially when you take into account the canopy of the trees lining the fairway. I had no room to work the left-to-right in order to accommodate my slide/fade off the tee. The greens are good and the bunkers are challenging, but not over-the-top. With exception of the sand in the bunkers! Dirt is more like it. If there were fluffy sand, then bunkers would be quite playable. As it stands, bunkers were horrible. Cost was low and not crowded. Would go back here again and recommend.

$25 for 9 holes in the dead of winter during twilight hours is a rip-off, and the worker said he would rather go home than negotiate a cheaper green fee. There were 2 cars in the parking lot.

Good course, good shape except for the bunkers. Put real sand in there and it will be an even better course. Price is good you have to find the right deal and the right time to play.Keep the ball in the Fairway you'll be in good shape.

I remember this course before it financially imploded and was reborn as Delaware's only municipal golf course. The fairways seem wider than the original, but will still punish errant tee shots with tough 2nd shots from the woods. Overall the course is well maintained. On the downside it isn't easy to find from Rt 13. Also, it needs to have a regular club house instead of a construction trailer. This severely limits the ability to draw non-golf related revenue such as meetings and party's.

Worst course conditions I've ever played....played there several years ago and don't remember the conditions being that bad. Love the Rivera course feel of tree lined fairways where you can work the ball both ways. However I never saw such bad bunkers, burnt fairways , unacceptable tee boxes and bare spots and poorly maintained rough around the greens....the only OK area wete the greens. They were just OK....we drove 1 1/2 hours to play here. This course has so much potential but due to almost no course maintenance I will never play the dog track again.
