Amazing Golf Course

I played Odessa National for the first time yesterday. While other courses in the area are struggling to keep their grass in playable condition, this course was in terrific condition and at a very reasonable price for the quality.The layout is very playable although the 2nd and 11th hole par 5s are both VERY difficult due to strategically placed water hazards and buttonhook approaches to the greens. But I have nothing negative to say about the course design and condition since they watered the course aggressive to keep it playable. The one downside to watering is that you don't get a lot of roll-out on drives which made every hole play longer.Lot of bunkers but all were in good shape and the greens, while slower than I'd expect, rolled true and consistently from hole to hole.Staff was pleasant and efficient, although the course was quiet that day so it wasn't that busy. I will go back and add it to my rotation.

Hard to beat for the price. Top notch service, from the proshop to the bar to the cart crew and starter. Nice driving range, practice area and practice green. Course is in great shape, greens are rolling great. A fun course with nice views. Expect plenty of wind.

The clubhouse has an extremely cheap feel to it and the draft selection is minimal.... The course is superb!!! My brother and I play all over within 100 miles & this course is quality!

Nice greens although the tees were a little shot up. Excellent driving range and practice facility. Buy a yardage if you can, it's a difficult course if you're unfamiliar with the layout. Good value for dollar.

I've been for trivia on Tuesday nights. Great drink specials. Food is really good and not overly priced.
