Update: our deposit was received this week June 11th. Thank you. We planned out wedding here and covid hit. We are working with Scott. I respect that what happen wasnt anyones fault. But my wedding was cancelled. I expected them to offer the soonest date. I was informed that since it happened space was filled up. I expected them to call and offer us the soonest slot when this all happened instead we were offered the scrap dates. We tried to negotiate the date but instead due to how I felt as the person paying 10k - that with so many venues including photo video and other places taking our money/deposits and the fact our family couldn't make any of the dates they offered (Originally 2021, then Sept, then offered July once I got upset) that it wasnt the time to get married in 2020. Respectfully when we started this in our contract it did state we had a month before our wedding date to get our deposit back - and nothing about pandemics - did state if they cancelled they would return our deposits. They informed us they wanted to keep $100 of it for feeding us our sample dinner for the wedding. We didnt have a problem and respected that - it was a great dinner and we are saddened it couldnt have been it was great food. This deposit issue started May 20th - technically sooner as we asked for the deposit many times but kept being angled into dates would couldnt make. We asked for it to be mailed originally, that was not done. Then I was informed I could show up to get it. I mistook the times of his office hours (that was my bad) but Scott - was in the office - wouldnt come out or give the check to the gentlemen in the front when I was talking to him. I forgot his hours of operation w-s 12 - 7.... but he was there it could have been easy to hand the gentlemen in the store my check to me insteaed he hid, and told the guy that he wasnt available. I was respectful and sent an email asking for him to send the check once i figured out my mistake on his office hours (again he was there.... when I was at the office). Now its June 3... On May 26th Scott said he would mail it out. I was informed today by Scott he mailed it Thursday at the monument post office. We live in monument and should have gotten it by now i would hope. I hope they do the right thing. Venues shouldn't be taking anyones money right now these are very hard times. But now they have become difficult. I dont know if I offended scott or what it wasnt my intention if I did. Point is - ethics and Morales at the issue here - a place like a country club there should be a standard and we have not recieved that. We were planning on buying into the club so that my husband could play golf and swim after the wedding. it was my gift to him. Now - how I feel and the saddness I have I wont be using their services. It was no ones fault that covid happen and everything closed. But they could have responded better. Thats all Im saying. They are improving the facilities. I hope they improve other entities as well. I wish you all the best. Please make sure we get our deposit back. We have been very empathetic to you and your company.... we just ask the same. Thank you and I hope someone higher sees this comment.

We have an athletic membership with pool. At $155/ month the athletic/pool membership feels overpriced compared to places like Lifetime and Villa Sport, which have far nicer facilities. The club needs serious capital investment to be a comparable value (easily 500k if not more). The gym and pool areas could use upgrades (new equipment, remodeled bathrooms/locker rooms, nicer grounds, etc...). A little TLC could go a long ways in many areas. The golf course is nice and challenging but you only get 2 rounds/year on the athletic membership (yet tee times sit empty??)You also have to spend $65 each quarter on food and/or drinks. The food is fair, though once my quarterly commitment is surpassed I consider other options for an evening out. As the only option in N. El Paso county owners don't seem motivated to invest the capital to turn it into a nicer complex.

Paid an awful lot to have a luncheon a buffet luncheon at that, food was decent however the watermelon if I was the chef would have never put that out. The charge for the room was excessive and it made the entire meal out of range. Would never go back if it is up to me.
