Have played this course several times over the last few years and really enjoy it. Well designed, excellent terrain with the ponderosa pines and course is well kept. The staff is helpful and I will continue to come back when I visit Truckee or Lake Tahoe.

Here for a wedding. Pretty location for reception and wedding but keep in mind the occasional golfers driving by during reception. Food was okay. While they do have outdoor heaters they need to get more as we all know in the mountains temps can drop quickly even in summer. Staff was fine except for bartenders. They had coffee service for 1.5 hours after dinner which was appreciated. After that you couldnt even buy a cup of coffee or tea. Bartender told me to drive to a coffee shop if I wanted coffee. Reception went until 11pm and coffee/tea was cutoff by 8pm. Which means 3 hours of people drinking and no coffee or tea can be purchased. So ridiculous when you know they can easily make a pot of coffee since they had to make it for the earlier service. I told them over and over I would pay since it was a no host bar, but was denied. An outdoor wedding can beautiful, but Mother Nature is in control of the weather and even in summer quick drop in temperature and rain showers are common. 30 minutes before the wedding it rained for a few minutes so all the linens and table settings got soaked. Staff had to run around moving display tables out of the rain and trying to soak up the water on the dinner tables. This is all happening while guest are arriving for the ceremony.
