Nice had a great time

It's disappointing that I had to downgrade this course. I played at this course last week and had a nice time. It was nice enough that I (and my group) booked the same tee time for this week. We were given the verbal confirmation from the pro-shop employee that everything was set. Today, upon check-in with a different employee, I was informed that the course will NOT honor the price from last week. Despite our objection and receipt record from last week, we were denied. We then had to book online at a higher rate. It was unfortunate that we were penalized because of improper employee training and inconsistent pricing policies. It seems that a verbal confirmation is no longer a guaranty for booking. If you plan to play here, be sure to get a written or digital confirmation. Otherwise, you may be disappointed.

Course is in nice shape but fivesomes should not be allowed before 12pm. Got stuck behind one at 7:30 I'm the morning that made it a 5 hour round. Love the new cart paths.

This is a very good golf course tucked in the Foothills of La Verne. Two of my favorite parts are: its not crowded (of course it can be) and the scenery itself teeming with wildlife. Deer and geese are so at home and very comfortable with humans so it really points to us that we can coexist and respectfully share the place. We had difficulty booking online - it would not go through so we just went and took a chance and fortunately it wasnt crowded. The greens are bumpy so hopefully this can be fixed. Overall, this is a relaxing course definitely, Ill be back.
