First I will say this course was really fun to play! We were visiting from out of town and the staff were very helpful! I am giving it a 3 star simply for the dry condition of the course overall. The greens were watered and played well, however the rest of the course was fairly hot.We played 9 holes and were a bit confused at first about the tees. There are 9 holes and to play 18, the tee placements are different on the same box (1 compared to 10), however one we figured it out it worked well. I played from the Gold while my husband played from the Blue. There were a few holes I got a HUGE advantage.I would say if you are looking for a nice, open course this was fun. We are not super great and love finding more local courses to play. I would go back- but would bring more water! Phew! It's an open course with a few shady spots but by 1:00pm (in early July) it as very warm

I can afford to play here on the weekends the course is playable best views in lake county....good experience.
