As of July 12, 2018, this is now referred to as the Calimesa Event Center. The Golf Course portion of the property has been closed permanently by owner Art Braswell. At last report, they are still hosting weddings, banquets, and parties, under the supervision of Catering Manager Christy Lopez. A developer, Charles Rollins, took over management of the complex in 2017 but he is now out of the picture, according to newspaper articles. I have tried all aspects of the food service here (banquets, formal dining, and casual snacks) and found everything to be only mediocre. The facility still hosts the Summer Concert Series (free admission) and debuted a new outdoor stage in 2017. Management claims to be undertaking upgrades in the facilities and decor. Update: As of October 19, 2018, the entire 121-acre parcel is for sale. This may have significant impact on improvements in the facility, but I will post any developments to this review, as they occur. Update: As of Summer 2019, the upgrades are complete and the facilities are much improved. I have not tried any food from the kitchen but the snack bar, during the Summer Concert Series, sells a good product.
