Amazing Golf Course

Nice little course and can't beat the cheap green fees

Just happened to find this on Google maps and brought back a flood of memories. I had never played golf in my life and when this place first opened a couple of my co-workers wanted me to try it out. I bought a cheap set of clubs and a bag and gave it a try. Had a blast to say the least. It seemed like the couple of water hazards would suck my balls right into them. This place had been a cattle field and back then there was still rocks laying around that you might occasionally hit and there goes your ball zipping off in a different direction. I think back then it was just around 9 bucks to play nine holes. I always rented a cart which was fun also. They had nice concrete paths at the time. I loved to get up early and get there just as they were opening because I had the whole place to myself and could take my time. One time I went and made a hole-in-one on the first hole, of course there wasn't any one around to witness it. In October of 1999 my company transferred me the the Branson, Missouri area and I stopped playing. The courses here are very expensive, more than I could afford, But Brush Creek gave me some great memories to remember and it gave me confidence that I could actually golf, something I had never dreamnt of doing.
