Had a chance to golf at Mountain Ranch over 4th of July holiday. Course was in good condition and will probably get better as summer goes on. Front 9 is fun and back 9 kicks it up a notch with difficulty. Joined up with a local golfer and very nice and helpful on layout. Restaurant at clubhouse also has some great food. Ended up leaving behind my gap wedge on green of #18 and didn't realize till I golfed next week back in Iowa. Called the course and they had it turned in and they were nice enough to ship back to me at no charge. Would definitely recommend to golf if in the area.

I have been playing this course since 1986. At that time it was the benchmark for golf courses in Arkansas. It still is a tremendous course, however, with the reduction in play the course isn't as well maintained as it was when the Bay was booming. Nevertheless it is challenging, fun, quiet(each hole feels like you are the only one on the course), and is still my favorite course to play. You won't be disappointed in this course or the staff.
