Amazing Golf Course

I have lived in The Anthem Country Club for just over a year now. overall I am extremely happy to be living in this beautiful neighborhood with lots of friendly active outgoing people. There is a bit of snobbery but it is few and far between and the population that practices it is dwindling. As for the club, the swimming pools and gyms are wonderful and I use them almost daily. I do not eat at the club because many of my neighbors told me the food is not very good and the service is inconsistent. I ate in the restaurant twice after moving here and both times found it to be an extreme disappointment due to the quality of food and service. After covid we were assigned credit on our account to make up for us paying dues and not getting to use the facilities. Because I do not golf and really had no other way to use my credits I ordered dinner from the club on three separate occasions, two were a great disappointment and only one was what I consider to be an enjoyable meal. I really feel the quality of service and food at the club needs to be increased to a great degree. currently all the chairs around a persimmon pool are shredded and falling apart and a bit of an embarrassment if one brings company to swim. Also one thing I'm greatly disappointed in is that if you are a family with children or even a grandparent with visiting grandchildren you can bring them to swim for free but people who live here alone or even couples without children have to pay to have friends come hang out at the pool with them. it seems patently unfair and I feel that the club should give every household at least two guest passes per month, especially households which are only one person or couples with no children. These things being said... I reiterate that I am extremely happy living in the club and after being in Phoenix and looking all around the city including Scottsdale Glendale Peoria Sun City Surprise and Estrella I cannot imagine living anywhere else.

Nice place. Friendly staff at the gate. Went there for non-golf related reasons, but was impressed none the less.

It's always nice when you walk in and everyone knows your name. Good food, good atmosphere, good views and 9 times out of 10 you'll see a friend dining there as well.
