We have played all of the RTJ trail courses. The River course at Hampton Cove isnt quite the same caliber as other courses on the trail. The course is remote from the club house. Remote as in the first restroom being on the 14th hole if I remember correctly. Not exactly a fun feature for female golfers.At that same 14th hole mark, we found the beverage cart for the first time. Food/beverage service could have been better.

All three courses are maintained very well, great food in the clubhouse as well as a great shop inside. One of the best courses in north Alabama

Currently parking lot being repaved and restriped. About half of the parking lot not in use.

One of the most beautiful golf courses I have ever seen. You need to play it if you get the opportunity. If you are new to the golf world, the golf pros are very kind and offer reasonably priced lessons.
