Why am I giving them 5 stars? Because of value. This course is probably average at best, the club house is run down, and the layout is less than optimal. But, they charge a working man's fee of $20 for 18 holes. And for that price, it is a great value. It is my go to course in the area. Check it out.

Brutal, just brutal. The rain we received in the past 2 weeks had nothing to do with the condition of the course. When you cut the grass, remove the grass! Don't leave it all over the fairway and then charge almost $40 dollars per player! Just like the gentlemen who last reviewed, we had to spend time trying to find our ball when it was down the middle of the fairway. I could never go back to this course because they showed me they just don't care enough to maintain it. Ives Grove, Brighton Dale and Bristol Oaks are going to be getting mine and my friends business from now on. So long South Hills, if you don't change others will follow.

Terrible, i know we had rain but the fairway grass was as tall as most roughs. I lost golfballs when I hit the center of fairways because the grass was so long. The greens was like putting in my back yard when I dont cut my grass absolutely terrible so many better courses in the area then this. I spent 150 bucks for four people and definitely not worth it. I have never written a review for golf because golfing is better then not golfing but this was terrible. I literally left after the 13th hole because I couldn't do.any more after this course
