Pros: Affordable course with decent driving range and practice area. Easy to walk. Can be challenging when playing from the blues - couple par 3's over 200 yds. Layout offers some risk/reward options, depending where you end up off the tee. Tee boxes were in good shape but I played from the blues and they may not have been as worn out as the others. Staff is friendly and down to earth. Seem to have a nice bar/lounge area. I don't recall if they served food or not. Seems like a nice course for those who don't want to spend too much and/or don't play often. And lastly when I was there, they didn't have any bug problems.Cons: Course was in rough shape overall. They seem they may struggle with it being too wet or either too dry - it was dry when I played. The greens are very slow and spungey with limited breaks. Nearly all holes are a dogleg surrounded by trees. The course punishes most tee shots that don't hit the fairway - spent a lot of time chipping back onto the fairway on my second shot, only being 10 yds. or so off. It is generally flat with very few elevation changes and they have some odd bunker locations - I found two in the woods when cutting a dogleg. I walked 18 on an 80+ degree afternoon and didn't see the beverage cart once, and no water on the course. The ponds & creeks running through the course are straight, narrow, and tepid for the most part. Overall, take the good with the bad. I usually shoot in the low 80's but carded a 91 while having 3 birdies. It's just one of those places.
