Welcoming staff. Golf course is in great shape. Club house well set up for social distancing and seemed to be well cleaned. Golf carts even looked and felt freshly cleaned. Pins had pool noodles in the cups to keep your balls on top. Highly recommended for a laid back round of twilight golf.

Course was in great shape. Green were nice. Fairways nice. Employees were nice. Pace was very slow. Hard to keep a rhythm.

The price is kind of high for what you're getting, a city owned course that is treated like a cash cow. Not bad if you get there early in the morning. Loads of divots on the greens that aren't fixed.

What an amazing course for being right in the middle of our town, great job Appleton! Get here about once a month and never any complaints they maintain a high standard and a fair price with a great location.

Greens were in good shape and the ball rolled well. Fairways and bunkers were very nice. CH staff was friendly and helpful. Pace was good - 3 1/2 hrs for 2. Weekend rate a couple bucks high but you get your money's worth in quality. A fair value for the dollar. I'll be back.

Wasn't there to golf but to sled and for years it continues to be a great outdoor outlet in winter. Nice setup inside with restrooms and refreshments as well.

Fun course though gets a little crowed in the holidays, just be prepared to play through or best ball if you are having an off day.

Great golf course. Interesting, challenging and just fun to play. Club house has food, drinks and comfortable atmosphere. Location on South side of Appleton very convenient.

Brad at the counter is really rude!!!I was playing 18 w/ my family and Brad talked really rude because all of us didnt have our own clubs. Brad, my friend, just remember that talking nice to people goes a long way. I WILL NOT BE RETURNING!!!!

Good course when it's not busy. Otherwise very congested. Also don't like the walk to the driving range.

Fairways were burnt and waterlogged. Paid $19 to walk 9 because it was too wet for carts. Every fairway had puddles at least 8 feet in diameter and ankle deep. Got yelled at for golfing barefoot in those conditions because 'oils on my feet are killing the grass'. I didn't feel like ruining my golf shoes when the course is more mud than grass. If you actually cared about the grass you would be out there with a trash pump getting the giant puddles off the fairway.

Being owned by the city government, it isn't anything special though it is within city limits, so less traveled. The course is always in good condition given the circumstances.

As a veteran I appreciated the course adjusting their rates for the day and only requiring cart fees. The course itself was in good shape. Traveling in from out of state, I rented clubs and didn't look at the set provided until out on the 1st tee. I quickly realized that the bag was missing several key clubs like a pitching wedge for example. When I returned the clubs I mentioned to one of the staff that on my home course in Florida you get a full set of clubs when you rent them, and he quickly replied with attitude not here, and walked away. It was apparent he did not like myfeedback.

No signs showing the next hole. Most courses have a natural progression. The map provided on the scorecard was so small I needed a magnifying glass. We went on Mother's Day. NO PORTA-POTTIES! I had to pay both cart fees. It would have been a better deal to drive down to Milwaukee, and nicer courses as well. Won't be returning.

Brad was extremely disrespectful. I was asking a few simple questions about if they offered a military discount and about my son riding with me. There was no one behind me in line and it seemed as though I was inconveniencing him. Thankfully, the other gentlemen behind the counter, Trey, had great customer service skills and is the only reason I decided to pay to play at that point. The course itself was decent. There yard markers are in the ground though making it difficult to see unless youre on top of them. Im unsure if Ill be back due to the poor customer service experience.

Considering the size of the course and the fact that it is smack in the middle of the city, it is a great course with a lot of great deals (especially at twilight). The course is extremely well maintained, it is a pretty short, easy course but it's a lot of fun with some really great people.

Horrible was playing behind a single and a group of two. Had to wait a few minutes on back 9. Group behind is complains to the clubhouse and accuses us of playing slow. Not impressed won't be back.

Have been a member for 2years now using a college membership, which used to be offered to people with a valid college I.D. but all of a sudden this year there is a 24year old age limit on college memberships. How this is not age discrimination is beyond me! Last time I checked all college students pay the same tuition. So why is the membership fee only good for 24yrs old and under? Also, I went there on a cloudy morning to get a quick 9 holes in, but encountered rain on the 4th hole. So our 3some went to the clubhouse to get a raincheck for another day. When we asked for the raincheck we received nothing but attitude from management, they refused to issue a full raincheck because the rain was mostly passed by the time all this was going on. The course was wet, we were wet, and the temperature considerably dropped. I don't see what the big deal is to just give a raincheck for 9holes walking? It's only $15!!! Not only will I not be using my $8.33 raincheck, I will be getting a membership at a different local course! Besides the bad management Reid does have a nice layout and it is a fun course to play.
