I hadn't been to the new Tri Plex yet and was WOWED!! As someone who had played Columbia Park Golf Course for years (20+) - I was floored by the new building and amenities. If we still lived in the Tri-Cities, I'd not only play golf (and practice on the range) - I'd be eating and drinking on the patio. What a beautiful job the team did that reimagined this space. The course is still the same layout and is an overall good shape! There's a couple of greens (just a couple) that show their age a bit but definitely a track to practice mastering your scoring irons, chipping and putting. Fun layout! The only thing I can say was better than the rebuilt amenities - was the staff!! Welcoming, relaxing, professional- just plain nice! And when we phoned in the next day that we misplaced a set of car keys in one of the on-course trash bins, the Operations Manager Melissa Hibbard immediately stopped what she was doing, went down to their maintenance area, rummaged thru the gooey garbage - and found the keys!!! I mean, come on...that's way above and beyond the highest level of customer service!! So, yes - this review may be a bit biased from my last experience at the Tri Plex...but I'd encourage anyone - golfers & non-golfers alike - to give Columbia Park Tri Plex a shot. I promise you'll go back again and again...

Nice and Clean golf course and great place to sit and watch the boat's on the water. Test areas are clean inside and outside. Great place for a walk in the park.

Columbia Park Golf Tri-Plex suffers from a few issues that make playing there frustrating at times. First, the course in inundated with teams of geese that leave their dropping so thick that everything ends up coated will goose feces. This is a factor for at least six months of the year. It not only is frustrating but also a health threat. My other frustration is with the management of the facility. They do not allow golfers to use the back 9 holes unless you play 18 holes. This is a good course for teaching youngsters how to play golf but this frustrates those who play regularly and expect to finish a round in a reasonable amount of time. This arbitrary policy makes this course unfriendly for anything but beginners.
