Longest continuous running opening hole of golf in the US I believe (1895 or some wild year). Great condition, small greens, short, open, it is a classic resort course with history throughout. *** I birdied Taft's hole, so that's a wild thought*****

If you are coming to watch your son or daughter play high school golf, don't. You cannot rent a golf cart like you can at the other high school golf meets. You are given the opportunity to 'maybe' view them from the crater-style side of the road which has been washed away. (As a heads-up, you may lose your vehicle doing so). Such a disappointment for us when we discovered how beautiful the property is only to be told 'you can watch in a couple spots from the road whenever they get there'. Needless to say, it has been a waste driving to a picturesque location and not even being allowed to walk or drive the course to support our local high school youth.

Great course. Plush fairways and greens, course on the fairly short side (I'm not a long hitter). On the expensive side, but worth it to play once.
