Terrible course. I played 9 today because I couldnt stand to play anymore. The first couple holes are alright, firm fairways but alright. Once you get to hole 4 or so, it goes downhill. I dont think I hit on the actual tee box all day. All of the markers were moved off the boxes to equally bad patches of grass. Fairways were in terrible shape. Most of the time you hit from dirt in the middle of the fairway. Hole 5 or 6 is littered with broken beer bottles. Forget the sand trap, watch out for the glass trap. Its the entire fairway! The hole immediately after the glass palace is like hitting into a desert. You tee off from a sand pile and hit into nothing but dirt. Then you hit a long iron from the Sahara onto the green. The carts did have GPS though! Maybe instead of paying for GPS and geofencing, you can spend some money on grass seed and water. Lastly, its not cheap. I paid almost $30 for 9 holes. This course should be $10 and you get a sleeve of balls on your way out. Dont waste your time or money. You will just end up with dirty clubs, frustration, and the possible shard of glass in your leg.

The course is alright. Better than I expected for Pecos but nothing compared to other places. They seem to be closed a lot for tournaments so it's hard to play here consistently.

They change the rules on a whim. No care taken to improve the course which is a horrible sore spot for Pecos, Texas, which is not the best managed city in Texas.
