Played 8/27/19 - greens are rolling great and they are very receptive to well struck shots. Rough is up and tough. Only downside is that some jackass was sighting in his deer rifle in the adjoining neighborhood. Good job to the staff, this place is really sweet

This is one of my favorite courses in Houston area. PHENOMENAL shape for the rate! Staff is friendly enough. As for the course itself, I am very impressed, tee to green is always in great shape and plays/ rolls true. This is a great tournament prep course as you will encounter an array of shots in your bag to go low here. HEED MY WARNING- the mesquitos are like a relentless hord on a few holes on the front 9 following the creek so bring your bug spray.

5 of us friends, decided to drive over an hour for our golf outing. Two of us brought our high school boys who also play golf for their high schools and have played the course several times in middle and high years as part of their tournaments. We have also played a lot at this course. We play a lot of golf and have local memberships where we live. Tee times were booked, golf attire was on, pace of play was promised, if we were slow, we agreed to make adjustments to respect fellow golfers times, and above all paid full price. As we get ready to walk out, a comment was made 'if you are slow, I will be first one to take you out'. A sense of frustration and stress for upcoming golf tournament might have caused the individual to say those words. So we reassured that we will follow the pace guidelines. As we get ready to walk out of club house, another comment was made 'you don't look like fast golfer' !!!Just to give more background, all five golfers have played golf for over 10 years minimum. Each individual players either holds a respectable position in refining business or has minimum of two and maximum of 7 businesses that they own. 2/5 players have handicap of less than 6. So then what makes a individual judge the book by its cover? We were never out of line, yet we were treated differently. Why? A very vague, non apologetic and 'we don't need you as customer' type approach, forced us to ask for refund and walk away from situation. Course lost a $500 business and customers for life. Ask yourself why?
